Fable: gameplay video, release window, and PS5
Another long-awaited piece of information concerns the PS5 release , which until now was uncertain and is officially confirmed : the title will be available for Xbox, PC, and PS5 simultaneously. A release window has been announced: the RPG will be released in the American fall of 2026, that is, between September and November .
The gameplay received the level of detail that players on the green side of the force wanted to see, including combat, exploration, and the freedom that the game’s systems will offer. Check it out:
Set in Albion , a classic setting in the franchise, Fable puts the player in control of a character “from childhood,” using the series’ typical karma system, where your decisions define your character, your missions, and the reactions of those who cross your path.
Acquiring property, forging weapons, and even romantic relationships will be present in the RPG, just like its predecessors, allowing fans to “get lost” in these possibilities to the point of forgetting the main mission.
That’s one of the great magics of Fable – the world around the player – and it seems that the British team at Playground understood the responsibility of adapting the game’s format to the current standards of the industry. Speaking of the British, the game will feature the characteristic humor of that part of the globe, according to the studio.
